Requirements

To provide your Canine companion with the best possible care, each owner is required to be registered via our online portal prior to their dog being boarded.

A current C5 vaccination (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Canine Cough) is mandatory and proof of vaccination must be uploaded to your online account prior to any booking being accepted.
Evidence of registration with your local council (including tag no.) is to be provided.
In relation to animal health and wellbeing we have 24 hour emergency Veterinary access.

As dogs are social animals we encourage dogs to be outside and playing with dogs of similar size as much as possible.
Please ensure your dog is leashed on arrival.

What do you supply for overnight boarding?

Your dog will be housed in it's own pen with a comfy hammock bed. You're welcome to bring a blanket, pillow or toy to make your pooch feel more at home.
We also feed your pet a wholesome dinner.

What will you feed my dog?

Your furry friend will be fed a wholesome dinner comprised of delicious crunchy dry bits and a nutritious cooked roll supplied by Ecopet.
Ecopet cooked rolls are all natural and preservative free combining meat, vegetables and rice.

My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?

Absolutely. You are welcome to provide your own food for us to feed your dog for breakfast, dinner or both.
Please pre-portion any wet food into individual serves, or provide a measuring cup/scoop for dry food.
Feeding requirements are to be noted in the customer portal when you make your booking.

My dog requires medication. Can you give it to them?

Yes. Please ensure all medication requirements are noted in the customer portal at the time of booking and we will ensure any medication is administered as required.
We are unable to administer injections.
Please note we are a peanut free facility. We ask that you do not bring peanut butter to feed with your dog's medications.

My dog is not desexed, is that ok?

Female dogs that are not desexed may be boarded under certain conditions.
They must not be in season or due to come on heat. Should they come into season whilst being boarded you will need to arrange for them to be collected.
We do not accept entire males over the age of 8 months for boarding. Males under 8 months of age will be assessed on a case by case basis subject to availability (outside of peak periods only)

Will my dog get to play with other dogs?

Yes! We promote social exercise for the time the dogs are outside. They will get to play with dogs of a similar size and temperament.
Please note we are not able to accommodate dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs or people.

Echuca K9 Kondos reserves the right to refuse any booking based on breed or size of dog, pen size availability, desexed status, temperament, vaccination status, council registration status and boarding history.

During peak periods (including but not limited to school holidays, long weekends, public holidays and major event weekends)

it is preferred that your furry friend has stayed at Echuca K9 Kondos for a minimum of 3 nights previously.

This allows us to assess and ensure that your dog is comfortable in our boarding environment and has a great time when it comes to those holidays that we all love to have.

Bookings during peak periods such as school holidays require a minimum 3 night stay.
